What a 25 years it’s been
Back in the early months of 1998, Apple’s share price was just $0.10, the average house price in the UK was £66,000, Titanic was breaking records at the box office – and Greensleeves opened for business!
We treated 435 lawns in that first year, with a ‘team’ of two Greensleeves vans. Fast forward 25 years – those two vans have now become 200 and we now treat around 80,000 lawns every year. Or, looking at it another way, 8 million lawns in total, comprising 1.3bn metres squared of turf. Four of our initial ten customers are still with us today – something we are very proud of. Here’s to the next 25 years!
